Just a quick note to say how happy we are with Maple City Savings Bank. We opened a new business account with Maple City Savings late last year.  We are a local business and had been loyal to another local bank for the past 25+ years.  Like many others our "small local bank" was bought out by a larger out of town financial institution. We stayed with this bank for over a year but like most other things many of the services changed and we felt like we became "just another customer".  Maple City Savings Bank had approached us in the past but due to our strong loyalty we had stayed through the other banks acquisition. Last year our bank announced it was closing our local branch and that was the final straw.

Again Maple City Savings Bank reached out to see if they could help.  This time we did open an account with them and have slowly changed all of our accounts over to them.  The change was a large undertaking but Cherie (Deposit Operations Manager) and others at Maple City made the transition as smooth as possible.  Whenever we had questions or issues she or another employee would jump in to help.  Change is always difficult but I must say that I am extremely happy with choosing Maple City Savings as our local financial institution. After the acquisition of our previous bank the new bank was actually going to charge us fees as a business to do banking with them.  In contrast Maple City offers us a small amount of interest for our business checking.

Another aspect that I love is knowing that the tellers that I see remain fairly consistent in the Seneca Street Branch that I use daily.  Its always nice to be known when I enter the branch and everyone I have encountered there has been extremely nice and efficient. Also one of my favorite tellers Emma actually went to work for Maple City around the time I switched banks which also helped immensely with feeling welcome and comfortable there.

Anyone who hesitates in making the change I would offer that while change is hard sometimes it is what is the best.  I love supporting our small-town local bank.
